9.2. Prerequisites

There's a couple of requirements to the GIT module, in order for the module to function properly.

9.2.1. Clients

Nodes including the git::client class need to have the following packages available, or it's equivalent:
  • git-core
    The GIT client programs such as git-clone and git-pull.
